• Sylvan Nursery has been a staple of southeastern Massachusetts since 1966 when we opened one 50-foot greenhouse on our property. In the beginning, running the nursery was a part-time hobby. It quickly grew into a full-fledged business with 6 growing areas nearby.
• We serve more than 6,000 customers all over New England. Most of our customers run their own landscaping firms, garden centers and retail stores.
• Our thriving wholesale yard specializes in providing all the plants needed to complete any planting project.
• We purchase and pot about 200,000 bare-root plants every year. We also plant out some items in our field to grow on and shift up potted plants into larger sized containers. Our nursery is well stocked from early March to early December.
